I have thought about all this for sometime and have finally finished most of the spreadsheet for the stamps of Burundi. I have all of the COB, Michel, and Scott numbers entered for their issues. I am now doing the same for the Republic of the Congo/Zaire/Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda. If someone could use something like this, please let me know. The files are in Star Office format but they can be opened with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet programs. These spreadsheets have been handy in the fact I can keep track of what stamps I have from these countries

Are the Central African Republic and the Central African Empire the same place?
Are the Central African Republic and the Central African Empire the same place?
If so, why did they keep changing their name ?

Somebody has told me that President Bokkasser was a clever soldier who built up an Empire like the British Empire, but it disintegrated after his death. So the Empire stamps would have been for use not in the republic itself , but in the colonies. Which countries were these colonies, please ? It is all so complicated round there. I know that all the Congos are really the same place, and other names for it too, like Katanga.
