Actually , this is the sort of thing which is in Volume I of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money. Sometimes it’s valuable, sometimes not, especially if not in very good condition. I don’t know about this particular one.

You would expect Japanese Occupation notes (in volume 2) to be almost like this and rather valuable, but in fact large numbers of them were taken to Europe and America after the war. I have some rather exciting, primitively printed notes of Viet Nam with pictures of Ho Chi Minh on them at a time when the country was theoretically French, but unless in perfect condition most of these are quite cheap. You never can tell.

Actually, I have myself got a 10 peso note of the Negros Emergency Currency Board, another of Mindanao Emergency Currency Board, and another of Cacayan, also one of Cebu City and of course some Japanese ones. I’ve never got round to looking them up in Volume I, but they certainly didn’t cost me a lot of money.

Your Germany P83 is worth $2 and $10 depending on condition, however one variety of it could be worth $20 in uncirculated condition.
