La lumière d´admission de Hillsboro est située du côté du nord de l´admission de Hillsboro, à mi-chemin entre le fort Lauderdale et Boca Raton, en plage de Hillsboro, la Floride. La lumière marque la limite nordique du récif de la Floride, une formation de corail sous-marine sur la côte est inférieure de l´état. En 1901, l´établissement de phare des Etats-Unis a persuadé le congrès d´autoriser la construction d´un phare dans le secteur foncé entre la lumière d´admission de Jupiter et les roches de Fowey s´allument. Dans la deuxième moitié du 20ème siècle, cette admission est devenue une voie d´eau de plus en plus occupée. La lumière d´admission de Hillsboro est considérée la lumière la plus puissante dans le monde avec un faisceau qui peut être vu 28 milles. La tour pyramidale de fer octogonal a été construite à la roue et à la fonderie Co de Russel à Detroit, Michigan, déplacée à la station de lumière d´admission de Hillsboro en 1906, et allumée mars 7, 1907. Son objectif de Fresnel bivalve de second ordre émet une lumière mesurant 5.5 mega candelas et est placé 136 pieds (41 m) au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Automatisé en 1974, la lumière agit en tant qu´aide de navigation côtier et comme un appui au trafic local de l´eau. La lumière était relit en 2000, avec 400 livres (180 kilogrammes) de mercure remplacés par un roulement à billes particulièrement conçu. - Hillsboro Eingang Licht ist auf der Nordseite des Hillsboro Eingangs, auf halbem Wege zwischen Fort Lauderdale und Boca Raton, im Hillsboro Strand, Florida. Das Licht kennzeichnet die Nordbegrenzung auf den Florida Reef, eine korallenrote Unterwasseranordnung auf der untereren Ostküste des Zustandes. 1901 überzeugte die Vereinigte Staaten Leuchtturm-Einrichtung Kongreß, den Aufbau eines Leuchtturmes im dunklen Bereich zwischen Jupiter Eingang Licht zu autorisieren und Fowey Felsen beleuchten. Zur Hälfte zweite des 20. Jahrhunderts, wurde dieser Eingang eine in zunehmendem Maße beschäftigte Wasser-Strasse. Hillsboro Eingang Licht gilt als das leistungsfähigste Licht in der Welt mit einem Lichtstrahl, der gesehen werden kann 28 Meilen. Der pyramidenförmige Aufsatz des octagonal Eisens wurde am Russel Rad u. an der Gießerei Co in Detroit, Michigan errichtet, verschoben auf die Hillsboro Eingang Licht-Station 1906 und beleuchtet an März 7, 1907. Sein zweitrangiges zweischaliges Fresnel Objektiv strahlt ein Licht aus, das 5.5 megacandelas mißt und wird 136 Fuß gesetzt (41 m) über Meeresspiegel. Automatisiert 1974, dient das Licht als Küstennavigationsadjutant und als eine Unterstützung zum lokalen Wasserverkehr. Das Licht war relit 2000, mit 400 zerstößt (180 Kilogramm) vom Quecksilber ersetzt durch einen besonders entworfenen Assembly. - Hillsboro Inlet Light is located on the north side of Hillsboro Inlet, midway between Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, in Hillsboro Beach, Florida. The light marks the northern limit of the Florida Reef, an underwater coral formation on the lower east coast of the state. In 1901, the United States Lighthouse Establishment persuaded Congress to authorize the construction of a lighthouse in the dark area between Jupiter Inlet Light and Fowey Rocks Light. In the second half of the 20th century, this inlet became an increasingly busy waterway. Hillsboro Inlet Light is considered the most powerful light in the world with a beam that can be seen 28 miles. The octagonal iron pyramidal tower was built at Russel Wheel & Foundry Co in Detroit, Michigan, moved to the Hillsboro Inlet Light Station in 1906, and lit on March 7, 1907. Its second-order bivalve Fresnel lens emits a light measuring 5.5 megacandelas and is placed 136 feet (41 m) above sea level. Automated in 1974, the light acts both as a coastal navigational aide and as a support to local water traffic. The light was relit in 2000, with 400 pounds (180 kg) of mercury replaced by a specially designed ball-bearing assembly.
