ENTIRE: Edinburgh Inter-City Mourning Entire, 7 November 1846. Great Britain (Scotland). ENTIRE: Edinburgh Inter-City Mourning Entire, 7 November 1846, bearing a Fine almost 4 margined 1d red-brown, tied very lightly by Edinburgh numbered (131) between horizontal bars mark, on very clean entire, also bearing rectangular coded location transit stamp. B/S with 100% visible rare local double-straight-line (Duke Street) mark, and an almost 100% visible Preston Pans broken double arc stamp and two 90% visible circular coded marks in red. The contents page is heavily black edged, and deals with money matters. Condition: Breaking the seal has resulted in an approx 2 x 2 x 2cm irregular triangular piece missing at point of seal (embossed seal remains whole still securing the missing piece), otherwise; this is a Fine entire, with pristine inside faces, and without any other readily noticeable faults.
