Item description:

After the proofing of this value was done, the printers discovered that the wrong value had been given to this stamp! The printers had to change the wrong value and then did a second proofing showing the correct value, and then the stamps were issued with the correct value. FOR SALE HERE is the first ERROR proofing showing the wrong value plus the issued stamp ovptd specimen to show what the correct value was. (the second corrected proofing is for sale in a separate listing). Monochrome proof of one of the values from Tonga 1993 Health and Exercise set. Design shows good food and exercise for health and fitness.

MONOCHROME PROOFS were done on thin card and in black and white, and were used to check the design. A scarce item from the Tonga printers archival material.

Payment can be made in two ways:-

1. By cash (US dollars, English pounds or Euros) posted through the mail. Cash travels safely through the mail when placed between several sheets of paper or inside an old card.

2. Or payment can be made through PayPal in US dollars, English pounds or euros.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING POINTS:-

1. I cannot take MasterCard or VisaCard direct. I do not have merchant facilities. I can only take credit card payments if done through PayPal.

2. I cannot take cheques as bank fees are too high on overseas cheques.

3. If you win an item and will be paying through the mail, you MUST email me and let me know that you will pay through the mail. If you just post payment without telling me then there is no way that I know what is happening.

Buyer to pay airmail postage (which includes firm and secure packaging) on this item of 2 Euros. Extra items won are only .5 euro each to cover extra postage/packing/handling fees.

Unless otherwise advised in the item description, airmail postage and firm packing is US$2.80 to anywhere in the world.   More than one small item (such as stamps) will go together in the same envelope for the one lot of postage.

Where the items to be posted are larger (such as covers or large stamp blocks or artwork), then the cost of postage is shown in the item description.   But US$2.80 is the minimum cost to anywhere in the world except for Australia where the cost is US$1.50.

IMPORTANT NOTE - those wishing to pay by PayPal must add 4% to the total.

IMPORTANT NOTE - for buyers in China, India, Russia and Romania who pay by PayPal, REGISTRATION is now compulsory.    Too many unregistered letters have somehow gotten lost or stolen when sent to these high risk countries and paypal forces me to refund payment to the buyers even though I have posted their letters. If you pay by moneybookers then registration is not compulsory.
